ITERA World Series Expedition Adventure Race special discount

There are only four places left on this summer’s ITERA expedition race through Wales, and organisers Open Adventure are offering £300 off for teams signing up before the end of May. To make the most of this offer, enter with the discount code castlesanddragons.

The ITERA is part of the Adventure Racing World Series and will be a truly international affair as 36 teams from 11 different countries have already signed up.

Route planner Tom Gibbs, previous AR World Champion, explained that «Wales is a stunning country with everything adventure racers love, from mountains and dramatic coastlines to wild uninhabited spaces. And don’t forget that Wales is famous for its castles!» Competitors are in for a treat, and many of those who competed in the previous two British expedition races have come back for more!

Open Adventure director James Thurlow is keen to keep the route a secret and teams will know little about what is in store until they register in Cardiff before the start. However, he has now let slip that the race will cover «ten stages of real adventure from the top to the very tip of Wales».
