The location for the 2017 Primal Quest Expedition race will be centered on the stunning and rugged Coastal Mountains of British Columbia Canada. This edition is perfectly timed to bridge borders and coincide with the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation – What a great way to celebrate.

 

“British Columbia is an amazingly diverse and expansive location for Primal Quest. We are thrilled the event will take place in this area rich with intensely challenging terrain, it is sure to be a full intensity adventure” says Race Director, Maria Burton.  

 

There are endless miles of rugged topography and remote park landscapes.  North American and International teams will be enticed by the majestic surroundings and striking mountainous coastlines. We will take the opportunity to experience endless single track, glacial mountaineering, heart-stopping climbing and ropes sections, and world class paddling and river rafting.

 

The 10-day expedition adventure race is set for early September, 6 -16th, 2017 with teams appreciating the area both before and after the event. “After a grandly successful event in 2015.We expect demand for team spots to be tight for 40 spots in 2017.” says Burton “We are so appreciative for our loyal community of supporters and we are thrilled to bring the Expedition Adventure Race back and offer what is sure to be another epic Primal Quest Expedition event.”

Primal Quest Team Ultra Races

Team dynamics and strategy is an essential element to Adventure Racing. We encourage you to find a friend, teammate and take on more and new challenges.

This duo team event designed to challenge and inspire team dynamics and strategy. With a friend, some training and a pair of running shoes your ready to go. Follow the course, stick together and help each other along the way – no additional challenges are required. Compete for featured Primal Quest prizing and all participants receive unique Primal Quest Ultra swag.
