Global leading outdoor equipment and apparel company, The North Face, has agreed to a new partnership with Asia Pacific Adventure’s Athlete team by taking naming rights of the team and announcing the new team to be called: The North Face Adventure Team.

Champion System, previously the team’s naming sponsor, will continue to play an active role as the team’s #2 sponsor and supplier of the teams technical custom race uniform.

IBIS Bicycles, Hammer Nutrition, Princeton Tec and other global market leaders also continue as supporting sponsors of the team. C3fit, a leading compression company from Japan, joins as a new 2016 sponsor.

The North Face Asia Pacific Marketing Manager Tim Sedo expressed, «We are very excited to expand our support for this team in 2016 as they have clearly proved over the past decade to be the most successful trail running and adventure racing team in Asia. Certainly, the 2016 campaign has started well with Stone and Chung finishing 8th & 11th overall against many of the planet’s best trail runners in the first Ultra Trail World Tour event of the year. Podium finishes in The North Face 50 & 100 km events in Thailand and Philippines respectively, coupled with the teams 6th overall champion title in Hong Kong’s Action Asia Challenge adventure race, have since kept the momentum flowing.
